Band

  • Every band student will receive one half hour group lesson of similar/like instruments.

Recruitment

  • Band recruitment is geared toward 4th-5th graders. This happens in three phases:

    • Phase one - Presentation where we talk about the instruments as well as the band experience​​​. Here is the Demonstration Video!

    • Phase two - Choosing! The choice is yours and if you know what instrument you want to play, feel free to register. However, if you need help, we're here! Reach out to us via email and we'll schedule a time to meet with you.

Ukulele

  • Ukulele is a great musical experience offered to second through third grade students. 

  • Every Ukulele student will receive one group, half hour lesson per week (Maximum of 8 students per class)

Piano

  • Mr. Portillo has been a band director for over 10 years

  • Mr. Portillo believes in the value of teaching music and leans heavily on appreciating music through laughter and mastering music through hard "fun" work.
